Agencies Recruiting Warning: Ireland, unlike France, recruitment agencies are very active in the labor market. They bring together employers and candidates with a prior conversation between the candidate and the recruitment consultant agency. The purpose of the agency and consultants is to make a max of dough on the candidates (a candidate placed = a commission for the consultant and the remainder goes to the agency). It is a business and they have no goal of social integration! Therefore mistrust. Sometimes consultants are good and motivate you (that little border on ridiculous) and you are finding good jobs. But sometimes they will propose anything, kind of customer care at Hertz when you ask for Marketing at Microsoft, provided they receive their com to supplement their incomes.
