How Do You Stop Nerves In Stomach

VIRY: 2nd meeting of the future inhabitants

The future inhabitants of the island Haute-Savoie Habitat / CODH eco-neighborhood VIRY met Monday night to continue the process of group formation.

The project architect, Philippe Deletraz, presented in detail the different choices made possible in finalizing the project. These choices concern the interior, common areas and facilities. Some decisions, related to the overall structure, must be taken quickly so as not to hinder the progress of the work of the architect. In this sense, a group of future residents was formed to stop at the next meeting, the presence or absence of cellars in the apartments of Building B.

CODH The team then initiated a participatory reflection on what may look like the common areas of the project:

-

common room - central area of the project (called the "Orchard" by architect)

- green space south of the plot (called the "garden" by the architect)

Several ideas have been expressed about the use of outdoor spaces (sets of balls, barbecue, games for children, garden ...) and the common room (guest room, craft workshops, child care, children ...).

A similar discussion was initiated on the desires of future residents in terms of "living together". The keywords from the discussions highlighted the following: respect for the other concession, regulation, listen for differences, ...

Finally, the future residents of Building B (social access) have finalized their choice of apartment and, upon this basis, sign a pre-booked in January 2011. The future residents of rental property will be soon contacted by the management department of Haute-Savoie rental HABITAT to formalize their request for pre-allocation of housing within the project.
